Hi Rod, Yes RTD hookup is red wire alone and both black wires together
(removes cable length error). Here's the pinout for the press xdcr (this info
should be on a small sticker on the end of the pigtail) Red= + ex, Blk= - ex,
Grn = + fdbk and wht= -fdbk. Data sheet says it is reverse excitation and
shorted output protected. Will operate on 18-30vdc ex with 0-5v output.
Remember this new xdcr is 0-5000 psi so 5K = 5v. Old one that died was
0-3000psi. Good luck and congrads on acceptance. Tom.

Tom,
Thanks for setting up the RTD amp for me, at least all of the settings
seemed right. The temperature transducer has 3 wires, one red and two
black. I am assuming that the 2 black are on 1 side of the resistor and
the red the other. Am I right? I don't have much time to get this going
so I did not want to hunt and peck at it. It will go much faster if I know
for sure which wires go where.

The 3000 psi pressure transducer died 2 days before the new one arrived.
Since it was just jury-rigged together, Yuji just removed it w/o writing
down what wire went where. We do NOT have a circuit drawing or pin-out of
the transducer, just a data sheet w/o detail information. I really need a
pin-out so I do not hook up voltage where I shouldn't and blow up the new
transducer. It will be bad enough finding out which wire goes where on the
cable going to the pump room; I figure I will have to ohm it out to make
sure, since there is probably not any drawing for this cable w/ wire colors.

I need this info as soon as you can next week. Thanks in advance. The
system is really running well when we keep the air out of it.
@#^@&^*&^$#*& pumps are real good at making foam; could be used to put out
fires.
